As an alumnus of Middle College High School in Memphis, TN, honor student, and now freshman at the illustrious Norfolk State University, Nina Collymore has no plans for slowing down anytime soon. In addition to being a high academic achiever with a 4.5 GPA, a Memphis Challenge Ambassador, member of the Student Congress of Shelby County Schools, student-athlete, and member of the orchestra to name a few – This Girl Boss also serves as the founder of NinaShavon, a convertible clothing brand designed for busy women. Nina shared that before joining ELG in 2017, she was a very shy, closed offhigh school freshman that was intimidated by others. She had no definition of entrepreneurship. In her words, she did not see herself as a “Boss.” After joining ELG, she has gained knowledge, confidence, vision, and an entire community of support. In her words, “I’ve Awakened- I am that Boss.” When asked what she would say to sponsors, donors, and ELG supporters, Nina simply said, "Thank you! Thank you for having the heart to support other Girl Bosses and me. Without ELG, I do not know where I/we would be."
